- How to setup a nickname in Eudora FAQS
Using your Email program, Eudora you have the capabilities to save and index your Email addresses by a "nickname". This will give you the flexibility of not having to remember long Email address when the time comes to use them. This is what you do:
From within Eudora go to the menu selection that says Window/Nickname. From there select New, and then insert the name that you want to use when sending messages. When your finished Eudora will insert the name of the Nickname to the Nicknames list and will place the cursor in the Addresses field. This is where you insert the real Email address. Close the dialog box and Eudora will ask you to save the changes. To use the Nickname, create a new message and in the To: address text field insert your new nickname.
It is very important that the nickname is never the same as the e-mail address. This will create a circular reference and will cause Eudora to hang when you attempt to send the message.
If you would like to find out about additional features of Eudora you can take a look their web site. The address is: www.eudora.com

- Once in a while my modem will disconnect without any warning FAQS
There is a reason for this. If you do not do any activity with your PC for 15 minutes, our system will disconnect you. This is a feature that protects you from accidentally forgetting you are logged into our system and spending your allocated time. This time limit before an action is taken place is called a time-out. If the time-out seems far less than 15 minutes, check your trumpwsk.ini file located in your Horizon directory ir the configuration on your dial-up networking. There is a field called inactivity-timeout. Check the value and if it is less than 15, reset it to 15. Also, if you have call alert on your phone, the click that is caused by another incoming call may cause your modem to disconnect. You can disable call alert by placing 70# in front of our phone number.
