Outlook Express Step 1
Step #1 Select Outlook Express from your Desktop or Start Menu

Step #2 Select Tools from the Outlook Express Tool Bar

Step #3 Select Accounts from the Tools Menu

Step #4 - Select the Mail Tab from the Internet Accounts Window. You will may see one or many mail accounts. If there are accounts that you are not using, click on them one by one and select remove to get rid of them. If there are mail accounts that you are using that you want to keep, but there is none setup for Horizon Net, click on Add.(This will take you to another way altogether)

Step #5 - If there is a mail(default) or the mail account for your Horizon Net mail is already be there and you want to change the properties, click on Properties

Step #6 - Within the Mail Account Line, enter mail.horizon.bc.ca. Type in your name and e-mail address. You may also include an organization name. If you wish to have your mail receiver to reply to a different address than the e-mail address, type it in as well. The name for the mail account can be changed at this point if you wish to use a name that makes more sense to you. DO NOT press ENTER or click OK, because you are not done yet.

Step #7 - Next Click on the Servers Tab at the top of the Window

Step #9 - The Incoming mail server should be mail.horizon.bc.ca

Step #9 - The Outgoing mail server should match the Incoming

Step #10 - In the Account name space enter your username

Step #11 - In the Password space put in your password for Horizon Net

Step #12 - (optional) if you are the only one using your computer, check remember password, otherwise leave it unchecked and outlook will ask you each time for your password before you check mail.
